Class 3 Study Skills Day!!

On Tuesday 21st May Class 3 pupils of Wickhambreaux had the pleasure in welcoming Debbie Bellsher to the school.

Debbie works for Optimal Leaning, with Trevor Hawes.She specialises in children's thinking and learning skills.

The Study Skills Day for the children covered the following.

Amazing Human Brain: How it thinks, learns and remembers.

The right frame of mind: Relaxed, Alert, Motivated and Positive.

Learning Styles: How you learn best.

Mind mapping: How to make notes, not take notes.

Memory Strategies: Doing what works for you.

Thinking Skills: How to use your brain to solve problems and achieve.

Each child received a Study Pack and Certificate at the end of the day.
