15 Jan 2007 - Girls Football Tournament

The years 5 and 6 girls football team attended a Football Tournament for primary schools, held at the Geoffrey Chaucer School.

The girls did very well winning two matches, drawing two and losing only one - to the team who eventually won the whole tournament, who came from a very large school in Canterbury. Well done the girls from Wickhambreaux.

Three girls from the team really impressed the District coaches, with one girl being chosen for the team, and two other girls chosen as reserves for the squad.
