Thursday
Another day dawns bright and sunny. Everybody's beginning to look just a tiny bit tired, but we are all still keen.
Group 1 start the day with the sensory trail. Definitely the funniest and most fun (as opposed to scary or exciting) activity of the week - we were warned by group 2 who did this earlier in the week. It was just what group 2 needed!!! After this we went on the tunnel trail - pretending to be badgers, moles or snakes, depending on the diameter of the tunnel. In the afternoon the climbing wall called - again really great fun, a little scary, but definitely exciting - well done everybody. Our final activity was mountain biking - we went up all the hills rather slowly, but picked up considerable speed on the way down!
Group 2
Started with tunnel trail, followed by Jacob's Ladder - again very exciting, but a great team activity - the better you work as a team, the higher up the ladder you will get. In the afternoon group 2 started with mountain biking - again slow up, but fast down, followed by survivor - group 2 built some great shelters, proving that they would be the ones to have on a desert island!!
As this was our last day, the children (and adults) all dressed in their disco best to dance the evening away.
